My name is Manon.  I’m a French-born Australian, with a huge enthusiasm for all things hair. My career as a stylist started as a young trainee in France back in 2008 and my passion paid off in winning the French L’Oreal on “Total Makeover” cutting and colouring competition in 2010.

I moved to Australia in 2012 and thoroughly enjoyed my salon experiences in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. I also won the Brisbane Women Cutting competitions in 2015 again made me really happy. In 2020 I needed a new challenge so I opened Pardon My French Hair Salon in Bellingen. I’m now thrilled to continue my journey opening Pardon My French Salon in the beautiful town of Bellingen!

This town has such a welcoming environment. I’m glad, too, that my clients appreciate my versatility and continue to trust me to create or refresh their look throughout the years.

Frequently Asked Questions

I started my hairdressing training in France in 2008 and I spent the last 12 years in the hairdressing industry working between France, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Not at all I love cutting any type of curls, just come in with your curls preferably 2 days after you washed your hair and I will cut on dry hair.

I only work with one client at a time, so it is best that you plan for at least one hour for your haircut. Colour and additional services may extend this time.

Forgive me please, but I don’t do perms. Sorry!

Transformation is definitely my thing!
I like to work as much as possible with my clients natural qualities, I’m not so big on chemical permanent hair transformation if other option can be made.

seeing you soon xx

Yes I am happy to cut men’s hair

Many people do not know what they want to have done to their hair. You can book a consultation only session, which is free of charge. During this consultation we can discuss what your options are, and if you are happy to proceed, a hair appointment can be made for a time and date that suits.
